There are literally thousands of accidents or disasters that could happen at any given moment.
There are over 6.5 million automobile accidents every year involving 2.9 million injuries. There are about 400,000 home fires every year and 13,000 injuries. People have work injuries, lose limbs, need stretchers, have breakdowns, get trapped, get bit, get buried, almost drown, or get stranded quite often.
Statistics show that it is almost guaranteed for a person to be involved in some type of life or death situation, or one that they witness and can help in, at some point in their life. Click on any of the disaster icons to learn more about what to do if such a thing should occur. This is not meant to scare you, but to help you prepare mentally and physically for whatever life or death situation you may be in.
Savage Expedition Gear is a supplier of preparedness. We want you to be ready, both with the know-how and the gear, to help yourself or others live through disasters.

The main ingredient in most of our gear is parachute cord. Also known as paracord, survival cord, 550 cord, or 7 strand utility cord, it is a remarkably strong rope for its size. It is a nylon kernmantle rope with an outer sheath (200lb strength) and 7-inner strands (50 lb strength each) that have a tensile strength of 550 pounds. It was originally used as suspension lines in World War II parachutes. Now, it is produced in a vast array of colors and is available to the public.
There are many other paracord companies out there, but none like Savage Expedition Gear. We have added a whole new twist to our products. Check out our S.L.A.B. product line!
